Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy

1. Policy Statement & Objective

Primal Court is deeply committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all athletes, partners, coaches, and staff. We maintain a strict Zero Tolerance Policy towards sexual harassment of any nature across all partnered sports facilities, community matchmaking lobbies, direct messages, tournaments, and social events in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and general criminal penal laws of India.

2. Scope & Applicability

This policy applies to:

  • All registered players, athletes, and team captains using the platform.
  • Venue owners, facility managers, coaching staff, and on-court referees.
  • Primal Court corporate employees, contractors, and event volunteers.
  • All digital communications, in-app direct messaging, public lobby chats, and in-person match interactions.

3. Definition of Prohibited Conduct

Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome sexually determined behavior (whether directly or by implication) such as:

  • Physical contact, stalking, or unwelcome physical advances at sports facilities.
  • Sexually colored remarks, inappropriate jokes, or comments on clothing/appearance.
  • Sending unsolicited obscene, sexually suggestive, or harassing messages, photos, or audio notes via in-app player chat.
  • Any conduct creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive sporting environment.

4. Reporting & Redressal Mechanism

Any athlete or individual who experiences or witnesses misconduct has multiple confidential reporting avenues:

In-App Reporting: Open player profile or chat → Tap “Report User” → Select “Harassment”.

All complaints are treated with utmost confidentiality. An inquiry is initiated within 24 hours by the Internal Complaints Committee.

5. Disciplinary Actions & Legal Recourse

Upon finding of harassment, Primal Court takes immediate punitive measures, including permanent account termination, device bans, forfeiture of all loyalty coins/rating badges, reporting to law enforcement authorities, and blacklisting from all 500+ partnered venues across India.
